This premium service includes:

• Transportation to your veterinary appointment

• Your driver remains nearby during your pet's appointment

• Up to 1 hour of wait time from your scheduled appointment time is included

• Return transportation immediately following the appointment

Additional Wait Time

If your appointment exceeds the included one-hour wait time, additional wait time is billed at $15 per 15-minute increment, subject to driver availability.

For appointments expected to exceed one hour, we recommend our Reserved Return Package. With this option, your driver does not wait during the appointment and returns at a prearranged pickup time later that day.

Waggin' Taxi proudly serves Howard County and surrounding communities from our Clarksville, Maryland location. Pricing is based on the service zone in which your destination falls. Destinations outside our standard service zones are available by custom quote based on distance, travel time, and scheduling availability.

Standard transportation requests should be submitted at least 24 hours in advance using our online Transportation Request Form.

Submitting a Transportation Request Form does not guarantee a reservation. All transportation requests are subject to availability and approval by Waggin Taxi.

A reservation is not confirmed until:

✔ Your transportation request has been reviewed and approved.

✔ Any required Meet & Greet has been completed.

✔ Required vaccination records have been submitted. (Dogs -Rabies, DHPP and Cats – Rabies, FVRCP )

✔ Full payment has been received.

Full payment is required prior to your scheduled transportation service. Payment reserves your appointment time and allows us to dedicate that time exclusively to your pet.

For urgent or same-day transportation requests, payment is required prior to dispatch whenever possible.

Payments are securely processed through Square. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

A 3.5% processing fee applies to all credit and debit card transactions.

Waggin Taxi provides safe, non-emergency transportation for pets to and from veterinary appointments and other approved destinations. We prioritize urgent transport requests to help get your pet to care as quickly as possible, based on availability.

• Same-day and emergency requests may be subject to additional fees and availability

Standard Service

Included with every trip:

• Door-to-door concierge transportation

• Assistance from doorway to vehicle

• Safe loading and unloading

• Harness or kennel securement

• Communication with owner

• Coordination with veterinary office if requested

Mobility Assistance

Some pets require additional physical assistance due to age, injury, surgery, or limited mobility.

When safe to do so, Waggin Taxi can provide mobility assistance for pets that require help entering or exiting the vehicle.

Because this service requires additional time and physical handling, the following fees apply:

31–50 lbs ............ $20

51–75 lbs ............ $30

76 lbs+ .............. $40

Advance notice is appreciated whenever possible.

Safe Transportation Guidelines

Waggin Taxi is a non-emergency pet transportation service and is not a veterinary or medical transport provider.

While we are happy to provide Mobility Assistance for pets that need help entering or exiting the vehicle, we are not equipped to transport pets requiring medical support, stretcher transport, or continuous veterinary care during travel.

For the safety of your pet and our team:

• Pets must be able to travel safely in a seated, lying, or secured position during transport.

• Mobility Assistance is available for pets that require physical help entering or exiting the vehicle and may be subject to an additional fee.

• We cannot transport pets that require continuous medical monitoring or specialized medical equipment.

• We do not provide veterinary treatment or medical intervention during transport.

If your pet is experiencing a life-threatening medical emergency, please contact your veterinarian or the nearest emergency animal hospital immediately. Waggin Taxi can provide transportation to the veterinary facility once your pet is stable and able to travel safely.

Need us to stay with your pet during their appointment?

For appointments requiring us to remain nearby and provide return transportation immediately following the visit, please ask about our Vet Concierge Package, starting at $80 (pricing varies by service zone).

For standard transportation services, additional wait time beyond the scheduled pickup or drop-off is billed at:

$15 per 15-minute increment
(Maximum wait time: 1 hour from the scheduled appointment time.)

For longer appointments, we recommend scheduling a Reserved Return Package or our Vet Concierge Package, depending on your pet's needs.

Please take a moment to review our waiver of liability policy under the terms and agreements before booking. By proceeding with your reservation, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to the terms outlined in our terms of agreement.

We understand that plans can change, and we strive to be as flexible as possible. However, to ensure we can continue offering the best service to all of our clients, we have the following cancellation policy:

1. Cancellation Notice:
   We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. This allows us to adjust our schedule and offer the time to other pets in need of transport. Cancellations made within 24 hours’ of the scheduled pick-up time will receive full refund.

2. Same day cancellations:
   Cancellations made on the same day as the scheduled pick-up time will incur a charge of 50% of the total invoice for the scheduled fare.

3. No-Shows:
   If we arrive for a scheduled pick-up and the pet is not available for transport, a full charge of the scheduled fare will apply.

4. Weather-Related Cancellations:
   In the case of extreme weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances that may affect safety, we may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. You will be notified as early as possible. If your appointment is canceled due to weather, you will receive a full refund.
